Scandanavian softwood grown slowly in the cool climate of Northern Europe results in a superior strength/weight ratio material particularly suited to load bearing structures and a material that is easy to machine. The majority of softwoods sourced by RTD Crawford Ltd are from Finland, Norway and Sweden and all from sustainably managed forests.
